After trying 5 times to cancel my contract

I called 083 1 808 to cancel my contract on the 27th of August I was told that they would escalate my request to the Retentions department and I would hear from them between 24 to 48 hours but that did not happen, I then called again on the 7th of Sept as my contract expiry date was the 6th Sep but this was a Sunday and was told again they would escalate this to the retentions department and I would hear from them in 24 to 48 hours still nothing I then called again on Friday 11th of Sept and was once again told I would hear from them within 24 to 48 hours yet again a lot of nonsense still did not hear from them.

I called again yesterday 14th of September 2015 and was told it would be escalated to the retentions department and what do you know finally got the contract cancelled and onto prepaid.

I am now trying to call MTN to find out what my total is that I need to pay to settle this account and be done with them and I want to know if they have charged me for all the extra's days that I have been trying to end this contract.

Can somebody please come back to me as a matter of urgency or provide me with a number that I can call to get this sorted out.
