Admin failure is customer's problem
6 weeks and counting still no resolution to admin failure. In law intention is critical - MTN provided insurance application form which client signed. When the need to claim following a ******s occurred, MTN Insurance has no record of the handset. Manager promised to follow up and report back but now ignores calls and does not respond to emails. Insurance Ombudsman investigating but asks for patience. Frustrating lack of accountability and responsibility.

***: We do pick up that the insurance department has declined the insurance claim. CLAIM REF NO: 447040, as per the insurance department only the Blackberry 9300 handset has been insured with MTN and not the Samsung S4 handset for the insurance claim.
You are solely responsible to ensure that the Administrator is informed of any change to the Equipment listed. As per the insurance department they have not received this change form for the Samsung S4 handset for insurance purpose.
We do pick up that cell number *** insurance has been cancelled.
We have sent the complaint to the Morningside MTN store managers to give feedback.
