Account Suspended in Error

Last week my Ipad mobile connection informs me that I am out of data and need to purchase a new bundle, I try via the links given but the MTN website does not allow me to purchase another bundle so I contact the call centre, no problem, I get another 5GB and cough up R430,00. Later on during the day I get the same message and contact, via email a customer services rep, she advises that I actually do have over 7GB available so I should not have purchased the 5GB. Spent the whole weekend without being able to connect and this morning I phone the call centre, I firstly confirm my pin, they confirm over 7GB available, they transfer me to technical, I confirm my pin and go through the whole story again, now I am told my account has been suspended. I get transferred to accounts, confirm my pin, no the same pin that I have confirmed twice is now not valid, answer the 10 questions and get advised that my account is active again as it was suspended in error. Now my questions, on Friday why did the operator not advise me that firstly I still had data and secondly why did she not advise me that my account had been suspended? I now have paid out R430,00 that did not have to nor will I use that data all because MTN is ***********.

Absolutely disgusting, you take R430,00 from me and offer me a credit of R299,00, perhaps you do not understand plain English, your system demanded that I buy DATA when in actual fact I did not need to, so if you really want to act in the interests of the client, take the 5GB DATA back and credit me for the full amount as I do not need it and would not have purchased it if it was not for MTN's system. If you are not able to do that let me know so I can pursue this through the consumer protection act.
