Account never activated yet handed over

Opened a new MTN contract at MTN Tygervally and returned the handset after 5 days. I never used the phone. Consultant took delivery and issued me with returned item documents. Thereafter continued debits for about 3 months after which my account was handed over. Tried many times at this branch and telephonically to resolve this matter. The attorneys have informed me that the matter was withdrawn by MTN however a negative credit listing remains.
