Account in arrears for no reason yet again
Yet again my account is in arrears this is the 3rd time MTN has damaged my credit profile and this could prevent me from applying for my bond in April as planned after claiming that i owed a back dated amount (even though it didnt say so on my statement) i paid R1208.01 just so that i could have my account reactivated as i lose too much money by not being able to use my phone. I paid the R1208.01 on the 24 January 2015 yet 3 weeks later i owe them R599.41 and again my account is suspended again my credit profile is damaged and again i am losing business through my phone being off how can i be in arrears 3 weeks after i paid my account. the 2 statements i have received makes no sense the one has a balance of R339 and the other a negative balance of -R104.99 what on earth does it mean? but after fighting back and fourth for 3 months i am not interested i want to cancel all my contracts immediately.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused and for the delayed response.
We've perused your account and see that your line was suspended as there was a debit order for the amount of R693.00 that returned. This debit order was already submitted to the account before the cash payment of R1281.01 was received.
We understand that you would like the early termination fees to be calculated and this is in motion, however we do see that our Cancellations Department responded to the e-mail request for confirmation of the handsets that were issued for the fee to be accurately calculated.
Regards
Tim
