Account Handed Over Without Prior Notification
Dear MTN,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing to express my shock and confusion upon discovering that my account has been handed over. I was under the impression that my account was fully settled, only to be informed that I had merely settled the arrears.
My primary concern is that I have not received a single statement from MTN since the beginning of the year. There has been no communication regarding the status of my account, leading me to believe that it was closed.
According to the National Credit Act (NCA), MTN is required to send regular statements to keep clients informed about their account status. Additionally, the NCA mandates that clients must be notified of any arrears before any legal action is taken. The lack of communication from MTN has led me to assume that my account was closed, which has caused me significant distress.
I request that someone from MTN contact me immediately to explain why I have not been receiving any statements or notifications. This situation is deeply concerning and needs to be addressed promptly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
