Account handed over after final bill paid
Email dated 3 April 2014 to [Email Removed] , my father, Mr Prinsloo requests the cancellation of services to simcards PUK numbers: ***0 & ***2.<br> Response received from Thobekile Khuzwayo informing Mr Prinsloo that the contract expiry date was day notice.<br> 2 July 2014 - email was sent giving 30 days written notice for expiry/cancellation of contract.<br> 7 July 2014 - Shaun Lutchman informed Mr Prinsloo that the contract was cancelled with immediate effect and that he needed to pay R620.80 for the last two invoices and usage included up to 13 June 2014.<br> Also in July - Mr Prinsloo, requested to pay the outstanding amount in 2 installments (Settlement arrangement).<br> 1 Aug 2014 - The last two invoices were paid in full. Proof of payment sent 28 NOV 2014 to [Email Removed] <br> <br> Copies of emails mentioned above can be provided.<br> <br> And now MTN has handed the account over to debt collectors for the amount of R1259.02 - How on earth does this happen? And with all the other struggles in this country we have to deal with bad service aswell? Heavily irritated. <br> <br> Will appreciate it greatly if just one competent mtn employee could sort out this incredibly annoying situation
