Account billing and no response of the company
I missed one premium with MTN that resulted me to be in arrears with my account, now, what I don't not understand is that I tried to get a hold of these people to reinstate my debit order to go through from my account in order to be up to date with them they advised i need to make 3 consecutive payments to back be on debit which I did, but to this day my account is still running behind and each time i call the contact center to fix this mess they tell me about the legal department which does not even take my calls to fix this, is this another way to scheme customers and get more money by making sure i am behind payment to pay arrears? what I also don't understand my contract is due to end beginning of November and they are refusing to convert it back to prepaid and say it will only be done so if account is up to date, I need it to be prepaid because I don't see myself as a customer for this brand anymore, I had contracts with since 2012 and never had a problem, but since their call center strike saga everything went down south. I need this problem fixed, I cant be busy budgeting to make payments on something that does not even look like the payments will be updated.

We have investigated the account and payments and do pick up that you make short payments to the account. The account is handed over to the legal department due to the short payments. The debit order cannot be re-instated on legal accounts until the account is paid up. At the moment the account is not handed over to the attorneys so MTN do not charged the account any extra charges the outstanding balance i is owing from your side.
The terms and conditions for pre-paid migrations state to action this request the account need to be paid up and the balance should reflect as R0.00 or current. Pre-paid migration can only be done a day after the contract expires.
Please make the payment for R 1,934.82 once the payment has been received we can send the request to the legal department to remove the account from the legal and convert to prepaid when the contract expires. Airtime and data need to be used up before the pre-paid migration is done. Anything left on the SIM card will be lost. ***
