Acc handed over after payment of arrears
Hi, <br> <br> I was in arrears with my account, and on 4 Nov 2015 I phoned MTN to get the total amount outstanding. After paying on the same day and sending proof of payment, I confirmed on 5 Nov 2015, they did receive my payment and I asked them to re-activate my numbers. <br> <br> On 6 Nov 2015 MBD Attorneys start phoning me in connection with an amount outstanding from MTN - which was now much higher. According to them, they received my file for collection on 6 Nov 2015 - two days after I paid the whole amount outstanding to MTN directly.<br> <br> After numerous phone calls from me with proof of payments faxed to MTN and MBD, and even more threatening letters from Monnik, Basson, Da Gama Attorneys, is it today the 19th of November 2015 and MBD Attorneys is threatening to take legal action as instructed by their costumer - MTN <br> <br> MTN tells me they cannot help me, they see the payment on their system but I must sort it out with MBD. <br> MBD tells me they do not have proof of payment or any letter from MTN that the account is fully paid up, and without that letter, they will proceed with legal action - I am still waiting for the letter from MTN ...<br> <br> And still none of my cell number's is re-activated.
