Abuse at the hands of MTN

This bunch unilaterally removed data and halved the airtime from what had been agreed to and from R299 they moved the bill to R261,99. I was left not being able to bank, get hold of my insurance company in case of an emergency etc. As a result I requested termination so I could go to a company that does not do things without notifying one. Then they start to jump as there is a 25 relationship. Stupidly I was swayed by the length of the relationship to stay. They then decline me - not meeting their credit criteria yet my record is impeccable. Twice the person in their office tries - I had enough so asked them to convert the number to pre-paid so I could port it to a competent provider of SERVICE. No we will give you this, that and the next thing - they should have updated your income! Done. Well, I get the first bill from what was supposed to be R299 I am billed over R650! They charge for data I did not need as the new offer had more than enough and pro rata on the package whilst charging the full amount of R299 - don't know if it was old or new - but they charge in arrears but that was the R261,99 so things dont gel and why is that not pro rata? All requests for info and sorting outfall of deaf ears. They were also supposed to deliver a 5G SIM - still waiting - supposed to have delivered to their shop - went there no they did not get anything. Well, I asked they remove the debit order as I have now lost trust in this lot to get anything right. I go to their shop to pay and the ***** (this is a requirement to work there so he has the certificate) says no you are on debit order! The debit order did not run so they don't know what the hell is going on. Today I paid and it is the day I stop being ****d and abused by this company I am exiting, something I should have done a month ago. My advise do not allow abuse by big corporates who think you owe them - they would not exist if they did not have clients so show them so they can start to learn how to treat clients fairly - I am standing up against abuse and taking back control - if you think they do care email their CEO and see if he cares - the silence has been deafening. In my company the CEO has set up a special desk that looks at every complaint and sorts out immediately and gives feedback so the client knows what is going on - that's why they have the top promotor score in their industry financial experts that do good is what they aim for and live it daily - now that's a well-run company not like MTN - watch they won't even respond to this as it means nothing to them. A perfect payer and client of 25 years is exiting this abusive relationship and watch I will get my company to swop out my 3G connection as well! Yes there will be a case lodged with ICASA and we will see how they like what you have done.
