On the 30th of December I visited MTN in Kimberley to cancel my Wifi contract. The lady (very helpful and friendly) told me to call 135 on the 3rd of January 2023 to cancel as she cannot do it. On the 3rd of January I called 135 to cancel the contract (contract expired beginning of December 2022), was transfered from one person to the other. Some of the calls took more than 10 minutes. Some 8 minutes and no one answered or answered and I got cut off. I've then sent an email to customer service on the 3rd of January asking someone to contact me as I cannot get through. The email was forwarded:

Yello Team, Kindly assist with the below request. Warm Regards, Mishack Mavundhla
I received no feedback and no calls. On the 9th of January I emailed again and requested feedback. Nothing. On the 16th I emailed again asking someone to contact me as 135 is no help. No response.
I then tried calling 135 again today. Call took more than 30 minutes and still no help. According to the "service champion" I will be billed for another 30 days because the contract will only be cancelled on the 5th of February. So that means I have to pay almost R3000 alltogether because of MTN's incompetence. I have no problem paying until the 5th of February (month notice for cancellation FROM 5th JANUARY AS I FIRST REQUESTED CANCELLATION TO NO AVAIL). But I will not pay for another month. I still do not know if the contract is cancelled because the "service champion" eventually pretended that he couldn't hear me and cut the call after 30 minutes again. Please note my calls also get recorded for obvious purpouses. How on earth can I resolve this problem as MTN's "Service champions" have no idea what they are doing?????
