My phone fell out of my pocket on the 16th of May and having insurance through mtn as part of my contract I decided to clam, so I found the claim forms on line and emailed it to them (17/05/16), after a few days (only having the automated email response that the claim was received), I phoned them only not to get through as the phone lines are terrible and drop calls after a few minutes, or I am on hold for an hour then it drops the call. After a few more times I finally got through and the man/lady said that it was still to be put on the system and that it can take up to five days. I left it for a few more day and still no response, I then tried again to phone them only having the same problem as before with line. When I eventually got to a consultant (28/05/16) she had to get some in the department to help her as I needed a loan phone while mine is in for repairs, as part of the package, the only thing that was not a hassle was the arrangement to collect the phone that happened on 31/05/16 they came took my phone and left me with the loan phone. A week after that (10/06/16), or 8 working days I had not heard anything about my phone, I did not know if it made it to repair center of if the cost was to much to repair it, so back to the phone to try and get hold of them. After seven dropped calls I finally got through to them. The Guy told me that it was approved and that I will receive an email with the excess and account details all will have to do is pay and send them proof of payment. I got that on the 14/06/16, I payed and sent them the proof of payment on the same day, now today the 20/06/16 I have not heard from them on when I will get my phone back. The only time I hear from them is after I have struggled to get hold of them, that is not what I call customer service I am now without my phone for over a month, and still struggling to get a hold of them.
