ABSOLUTELY ********** SERVICE FROM MTN AND NOT MY FIRST AND IM SURE IT WONT BE MY LAST!!!!!

ABSOLUTELY ********** SERVICE FROM MTN AND NOT MY FIRST AND IM SURE IT WONT BE MY LAST!!!!! So everyone is aware of the crazy black Friday and cyber Monday deals MTN had. It was a wow coz it was an awesome deal everyone thought. 50 gig anytime data and 10 000 MTN to MTN minutes monthly for a period of 24 month they said. If I only knew that I was going to be put on a 36 months contract and only receive my 50 gig data for the 24 months of that contract I would have never taken an another line to my other 4 lines with MTN…… So I get an email from MTN in Jan giving my some deal codes to upgrade this line as it says when the 24months is over I will not receive my 50 gig. And the initial purpose for taking this line was for work reasons as I am using this data for work and the company pays this bill every month. When I called into the call centre after receiving the deal codes to upgrade this line they say that this line is only expiring on in December and now this confused me coz my 2 brother and I took the same special but they upgraded with no issues and now I have an issue saying I am on 36 month …. So last Sunday I received minutes and data for all my other numbers except this one . called in to the call centre and got transferred to 3 different people that couldn’t explain why Im not getting any data but could only tell me the contract is on 36 months which we have already established … The I call again after an hour and the guy logs a ticket for me…. I call again around 7pm and then they tell me that I was already provisioned for 24 months that’s why I am not receiving the data. Now to my understanding 2 years down the line is that I asked for the Cyber Monday deal that was a 24 month deal so why am I on 36 month . And now a week is gone and I am probably getting billed big buck coz MTN is so good at taking people’s money, coz I now don’t have my data for accessing my work stuff so I am using my data …. I have been a loyal customer for over 13 or more years with MTN with no issues or defaults for any of my payments with 5 lines that I had with u but now it is 4 as I just cancelled 1 end Feb and I will soon be cancelling all due to the service that MTN has to offer. There are a very few staff that are willing to help and the customer service really sucks. So for some reason MTN is not 1 company coz if I took something at the store then when I call the call centre they can’t access anything or do anything and you need to go back to the store you took the line with and vice versa. Which for me is PATHETIC being such a big company. If I had to call Vodacom im sure I would never have this issues at all as I also have lines with them. I called the store that I did this contract with and she told me that she the contracts are not with them and that’s why they give us copies of our contract ….. is this really how you speak to your customer!!!! So 2 years down the line we should still have paperwork with us……. I need to know if you will be upgrading my line with the deal code I have or will you be provisioning me with the same deal package until the 36 months is up even though this is not what I initially requested. I have even got some pics showing exactly what the Cyber Monday deal says and the duration of the contract was. And I found the docs the I received when I went to collect my handset that I took with the deal. And it states 24 month ….. A solutions is required asap….

Good day Brendah Langa, Thank you for your response, however i am not happy being put to the Store as the are very unhelpful and feel as if they are always doing you a favour. No one is doing us favours , we are paying an arm and leg for contracts every month. Is there no way tha MTN can get this resolved on they side. I am not sure how long i am even going to wait for the store to get back to me. Regards , Natrasha
