Abrupt sales consultant

I received a call from a sales consultant whereas he phoned MTN customers to offer a R89 data benefit. He did not even take the time to listen to me when i explained to him that i was not a MTN customer and took the time to interrupt me while i explained to him and then he just put the phone down without saying goodbye. Can MTN totally remove me from their leads list or whatsoever. I prefer my current provider.
