A VERY FRUSTRATING CLIENT - UPGRADE AND ACCOUNT.

I am a customer of MTN SA for more than 25 years. I am very disappointment with MTN since March 2022. I did an upgrade on the 25 March 2022 for both my numbers (two cellphones). The upgrade on each phone include 300min and 3 gig of data for R409.00. I've received one new cellphone on the 8 the of April 2022. After numerous calls i was send from one number to another to find out what the problem is and why i did not get two phones everybody that i talk to tells me a different story. Until now i do not know why i did not receive the other upgrade. There systems is most of the time off. Very frustrating to hear that i have to call in after 15 minutes. Until today the upgrade is not done. (1/6/2022).

I paid the normal amount of R898.00 a month on the 2 April 2022 because i did not received my account. When i received my account at the end of April they billed me for an amount of R1141.88. Start calling in again to hear that there systems is always off and i have to call in again. At last get through to an agent in accounts telling her about the upgrade and that i received an account of R1141.88. She said that it is wrong and MTN have to pass a credit . since i talked to her i received numerous SMS'e stating that i have to pay the arrears on my account otherwise they will suspend my phone,. Both my phones was later suspended. Tried to call in again coming through to an agent and she told me that she will escalate my query to the necessary people but she switch on the line again. Shortly after i spoke to her i received an SMS stating that i agreed to pay an amount of R1266.88 for 1 day from 29/6/2022 to get my MTN account up to date. In the first place my account was never in arrears and i did not agree to pay the amount as stated.

I want MTN SA to sort out my upgrade and my account so that we can carry on with business as usual. I also see a lot of negative feedback of MTN sa on social media.
