A Nightmare Experience with MTN: Incompetence and Ignorance Personified

I can't even begin to express the level of frustration and disgust I have experienced dealing with MTN. Their complete lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic human decency has left me utterly appalled.

Let's talk about the incident that led to this review. MTN somehow managed to mess up a simple payment allocation, where an amount of R1600, paid into my mother's account with my name as a reference, leaving my actual account it in arrears. And guess what? Despite my numerous attempts to reach out, they conveniently decided to play the silent game. Their incompetence resulted in a negative impact on my credit score, which they seem to care less about.

But that's not even the worst part. I've lost count of how many times I've attempted to get assistance from their customer support. I've sent emails that might as well have vanished into thin air, and their so-called 135 customer line? A complete joke. It's like talking to a brick wall - an infuriating, unresponsive brick wall.

I've had enough of their indifference. I've repeatedly asked for a breakdown of my account, so I can cancel and move on from this nightmare, but MTN seems more interested in brushing me off than actually addressing my concerns. It's as if they take pleasure in ignoring their customers and making their lives miserable.

MTN, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Your lack of accountability, disregard for customers, and inability to provide even a semblance of decent customer service is beyond appalling. I'm done wasting my time with a company that clearly couldn't care less about its customers' well-being.

To anyone considering MTN as a service provider, I implore you to think twice. Spare yourself the headache, frustration, and disappointment that comes with dealing with this company. There are plenty of other options out there that will treat you with respect and professionalism - something that MTN clearly knows nothing about.
