A less than 2 months old Samsum A3 writtenoff
On the 08th Sept 2015 my phone Samsung A3 went dead after couple of sounds like a radio out of frequence having been a freezing unit in the first week. I then took the phone to Midrand on the 10th Sept 2015 and what they told me is that because of dents they will book it for repairs. I have explained to the person who was attending me of the sounds before it went dead. only today when i do a follow up i am told its been written off because of liquid damage, what liquid I ask ? THis very same phone has been problematic since and was stalling to get it to repair center because of the rediculous number of days MNT Balfour said it will take and now this. I am very unhappy becoz i do not understand how my handset would have been in contact with liquid as said and i am not taking this more so that this phone has been probamatic. I feel cheated and i do not understand how mtn operates anymore.

Some one explains this to me i can not be paying an non existing unit for the next 22 months its unacceptable.

Our technicians located water/moisture damage on the PCB (motherboard) which is inside of the device. This would mean that somehow the device has come into contact with a form of liquid or moisture.
Any device that has been damaged by water or moisture is then deemed \Beyond Economical Repair\". This is in-line with the manufacturers terms & conditions. We see that a full report and a picture of the damage has been put in the box for you to view the findings.
