A D FOR DOMINIQUE’s SERVICE AT MTN TYGER VALLEY

I arrived at MTN Tyger Valley today at 16:35. By 16:43 Dominique, the 2IC, allowed a patron out of the store and told me that I may not enter “for security reasons.“ I wasn't sure what she meant by this. The store’s COVID 19 closing time is 17:00, so with 17 minutes to go, I wasn’t sure why I couldn’t enter.

Another employee inside was busy packing up by this time-his bag next to where he was stationed. Later at about 16:52 whilst I was in a different store, another MTN employee was walking about outside.

I’m flabbergasted that during these economic times this MTN store turns business away “for security reasons.” I told Dominique that I’m going to report her and she couldn’t be bothered at all.

Meanwhile, at Shoe City downstairs, their three employees didn’t show a glimpse of irritation, annoyance or impatience even though our purchase was finished at 16:59. Of course passing the MTN store again by about 17:04, their employees were gone, store tidied and locked up.

I have four contract lines with MTN and I sure know they can do without my business.
