Got my new sony m5 on sunday teusday it just switched off,could not get it to switch on plugged in the charger and it switched on battery level 52% ,wednesday it happened 3times,i have to put the charger in to get it to switch on again,took it to alberton city mtn,they want to exchange it but they dont have any stock,went to eastgate mtn today and they refuse to change it as the back of the phone has a littel scratch on it,went back to alberton city mtn they cant help me,asked them to cancel the contract as i am not happy with the product and i am still within my rights to do so,i got told to contact mtn headoffice,they are closed today,now i sit with a faulty phone and mtn does not want to take responsability,

Kindly note that the correct process to follow is to book the handset in for an assessment. Upon assessment, our technicians will determine whether they are able to repair the handset in line with the manufacturer's policy or if it needs to be exchanged.
Kindly note that the matter has been escalated to the Retentions Department for assistance should you still wish to cancel the contract.
