6 Days with no signal

On the 26th March 2015 I received a MTN LTE Sim-card, via courier. Which was prompt and convenient?

Admittedly, I did not activate it straight away. I received smses every day reminding me to do so. On Thursday evening, 09 April 2015 at 6pm I started the process.
I followed the very detailed instructions that accompanied the new sim-card.

As per the instructions, I waited for my old card to become inactive and inserted the new card at 9pm on Thursday night.

The new sim-card does not work and my old sim-card is now inactive.
I waited the whole of Friday and went into MTN Pavilion on Saturday and a request (REQ:***) was logged. I was assured my phone would be back on by Monday 20th April. It is still not working and after numerous *** calls, I am still none the wiser.

I do not know what the next step is

Hello tanzee,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the delayed response to the post.

We see that there was a failure with the new SIM card being activated on the network and the internal request that was logged was resolved with the new SIM card being activated.

Once again we truly are sorry for the breakdown in service.

Regards
Tim
