This "get 50Gb free" per month is a ****. My daughter and i have never used more than 15Gb when on Telkom, now on MTN they say we used 50Gb in less than a month. There is no way that this is possible as the "data" phone stays at home.

If this deal comes up again - don't take it!!! They spinning you faity tales.

Best regards,
You are kidding me right? I never said that the problem is on my main number - ***. Someone called me repeatedly on Friday the 10th while I was in an exam. No audible message was left. Being a client services manager myself I would hope it wasn't MTN calling me repeatedly because logic would tell you that if a customer is not available when you call they are not going to be available if you call not stop consecutively. So I hope *** is not your number otherwise you have just shown that you are not really interested in getting hold of your customers in a logical way but rather just going through the motions of trying 4 times in the space of 3 minutes.
If you have a look at my main number as listed above you will see that I have 6 numbers through MTN on my profile. 2 of these are for the 50Gb deals. It cannot be the the latest one I took as this one hasn't been in use for a month yet..so it must be the other one - not rocket science. I don't carry the phone of the number in question with me as it is predominantly used for the wi-fi at home or making calls to MYN numbers, i.e. One of the other numbers on my profile. The Samsung A4 that the SIM card is in also gives me stats on data usage and although there is a warning that this data is not 100% accurate and that one must check with your service provider, this data has never been 60% less than the usage I get from MTN.. In other words, my Samsung says we have used 18Gb of data and MTN says I have used 50Gb. A discrepancy like that is just not logical.
So I rest my case, MTN is definitely not giving the full data allocation or *****ing data.. And please check profiles properly before making sloppy assumptions. And don't phone me 4 times in 3 minutes. If I am not available to answer your call at 8.33am, I am not going to be available at 8.33am.

This is going from bad to worse! First month I had both my daughters at home. They downloaded series and I am sure were on social media a lot as they were at home during the holidays. We did not use 50Gb. In January only my one daughter was at home and only from the late afternoon. I am only home in the evenings. No series were downloaded. Apparently we used 50Gb in 28 days. Now all of a sudden we are using 50Gb in 6 days by only using social media in the evenings.
DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD MTN SAYS!! They ***** your data, ***** airtime that you load to buy data and double charge you on contracts (yes, that has also happened)
