34471 SMS \****"!!"""
I have been a loyal customer of MTN for 14+ years. My 1st & only service provider since I got my 1st mobile phone and are happy but recently I started to get annoyed after I started to receive SMSes from 34471 which is an MTN promotional number. I know I don't have to reply to it but till today I think when is it going to end. I Googled the number to find only numerous complaints about these 34471 SMSes. I found that it started in or even before December 2014 (3+ months ago) still it seems the Samsung S5 is STILL up for grabs. It only shows me winning a Samsung S5 is only a lure (bait) from MTN to make you take part in its so called \SMS competition' cos it seems like there is no date for the draw of the"prize\"""

We have now forwarded your complaint to our Marketing Department to confirm who is offering the competition. If it offered by us directly they will be able to remove the number immediately from the data base and if it is an external company they would be able to get them to remove it from their data base too,
