3 weeks to repair a phone, and still waiting

My wife booked in her Galaxy S5 at the local MTN (Boksburg - Rietfontein) branch with all the accessories and delivery note. Now 3 weeks later they have not touched the phone stating that they are not MTN themselves but merely a partner and they don't have the invoice so it's going to take extra long to get it booked in for repairs.

How can it take 3 weeks to book in phones for repairs. At other places it's sometimes done the same day or at most a couple of days for the entire repair process. Now the excuse of the delivery note not being good enough. It's terribly disappointing that you would expect your customers to keep all the documentation and then use that excuse to have huge delays on repairs. This is terrible service to say the least.
