3 Weeks nothing
Received a call from Rosetta 15 Nov, regarding my complaint 12 Nov on being charged R 2000 for data when I am on a Top Up contract, fixed debit order. Rosetta kindly explained that even though I don't have a lot of apps on phone and I turn my data off at night, Whatsapp will stop downloading and carry on when I turn my data back on. How much stuff would I need to receive to rack up a bill of R 2000 in data, I tried to question her on this but she keep reaping this. I asked for a copy of my contract, she will look into getting a copy but I must remember I signed it, doesn't matter what I requested, I must remember I signed. Still no contract, just keep getting sent invoices. My matter was 'referred' to the department that deals with data. I have heard nothing, does it exist? Am still R2000 out of pocket for 'data' on a Top Up contract. Shocking service by Mtn who seem to be doing this to a lot of customers. It's ********* and bullying by a big corporate on individuals who have to spend their time fighting to get money back and often give up. It's not right, your vales state: Be accountable, take ownership - STEP UP TO PLATE and SORT THIS OUT! PLEASE
Thank you for your post.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.
We do pick up that the usage limit has only been set up 4-11-2015. You need to send to us the copy of the contract where you have signed for the upgrade to be on Top UP. We can only assist with the credit if the upgrade contract reflect this should be on Top Up. The copy of the contract is not on our systems and we have requested for the stores to send to us this contract for the upgrade signed.
Kind Regards,
