3 Days battling to cancel a simple contract!!!!

I have been trying for 3 days now to cancel a contract of mine. I have so far succeeded in blocking the sim card but getting the cancellations department is like finding the holy grail. For the past 3 days i have been subjected to the most awful 60's music for upwards of 30 minutes daily waiting to get connected. I really dont have the time to sit and wait for MTN to answer. I suspect it is part of their strategy to cling onto customers. MTN Please get hold of me to cancel my contract. Dont tell me it is because of covid that their are long waiting times . why dont you increase the number of personnel servicing the public that would shorten the waiting time.
