21 days to defective phone bought cash appalled

On the 29th of June, I purchased a Hisense h30 lite from the mall of Africa for R4000.00 (R1000) more than Vodacom but I was there and wanted the phone.

I then went away, with NO MTN stores within a 200km radius.

While I was away i discovered the device was faulty. Speaker does not work (sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't), camera is upside down. I googled to find out whether this is an Android issue or a known issue. Found some issues from 2013 on Samsung devices. Called Hisense who advised this was an issue with phone.

After spending the best part of the day trying to get hold of MoA Mtn. I am told it's outside of the 7 day window, bring it in and we will fix it in 14 days. If I could have returned the device in 7 days I would have. To make matters worse I then phoned the head office who advised me it was 21 days.

Really MTN YOU take R4k cash off of someone, then give them a defective phone, then expect them to be without a phone for 3 weeks!!!

Your customer service is shocking, your call centre script mentality is horrific and consumer loyality obviously doesn't exist.
