R18 000.00 was ****** from me by someone claiming to be an “MTN official”. Somehow they had my ID number, personal information and my security questions that only MTN was suppose to have access to. As per my understanding in accordance with the POPI Act only MTN should have had access to this information. I received messages with an OTP from the same number as the official MTN number. During all this the emergency number of MTN was unavailable and when we got hold of someone they just told us that MTN will not be liable for any losses. MTN please refund me or credit my contract
