10/10 for total incompetence and ineptitude

I decided to move from Vodacom after 10 years as I was fed up with their service.<br> In July I took out a contract with MTN and completed all of the necessary RICA requirements.<br> I received a SMS from MTN on 15 July saying 'Congratulations your MTN application has been approved ... T&C's apply. MTN vetting'<br> To me, that implies that my RICA application was approved.<br> I had to wait until 31 July before I could activate my MTN account as I was porting my number over from Vodacom. Yesterday, I spent over 2 tedious hours with the MTN clerk (I refuse to call him a consultant) at the MTN office in Nicolway, Bryanston. The paperwork was finally completed and I was informed that my Vodacom number would be active on my MTN account within 24 hours. <br> Nothing happened and this morning I waited for 20 minutes in the queue at Nicolway to be told that my number was not ported because my RICA application needed to be completed!!!!!<br> I rang the Customer Care Centre and waited for 15 minutes with no answer.<br> I have had enough!!!!<br> I am now without a phone as my Vodacom account has terminated and I desperately need it for work as I am on call.<br> MTN YOU SUCK!!!!!<br> <br> <br> <br>
