TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

<p>I am sending this on behalf of my 66yr old Mother, residing in East London and I am in Port Elizabeth; she received a call from Mr Price in March to receive a free phone with R100 minutes/airtime. I was delivered in the middle of March with pro rata airtime. She only uses the phone to make calls nothing else. In April there was no airtime, she went to Mr Price East London, she was told she sent an email & there were apps running that use up her airtime. Mr P staff switched off the active apps BUT again in May & June there was no airtime and both months she went to the same store with no help. For the month of July she was asked to pay R484 which she did though she doesnt know what is it for. They requested a statement which was posted to her & she couldn’t understand the reading and she went to Mr P again with no luck. On the 10th July 2017 I personally called Mr P call centre, spoke with Quinton to explain what’s going on; unfortunately he couldn’t give any info to me as I am not their customer; he called my Mother & tried to explain the statement but it was too complicated for my Mother to understand. I also looked at the statement; I do not have a clue of what it means. Last week Thursday the 20th July 2017 my Mother went back to Mr P to be assisted in checking balance, she was told its R180; Monday the 24th July 2017, she tried to make a call & she was told she has zero airtime to make a call. All she wants to do is to cancel the entire contract without having to pay cancelation costs. She has spent a lot of money travelling to Mr P with no assistance since April, she hasn’t benefited at all from this transaction.</p>
