So-called "loyalty" program

<p>A representative of Mr Price contacted me in mid January, informing me that they would like to reward me for being a loyal customer. She signed me up for their "loyalty program" by means of a sim card on which I would be earning rewards every time I shop. This turned out to be a mobile contract, and not a loyalty program. Stupid me!</p> <p> </p> <p>They are now billing R100 a month on my Mr Price account. I have not even opened the sim card, and they have already billed me R300!!</p> <p>All this, without even obtaining the necessary RICA documentation.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have contacted them on numerous occasions. I have phoned the customer care line tirelessly, but no one ever bothers to take my call. I have sent various emails, and finally got a response from Fathima. I have asked her to cancel the contract, and reverse the fees on my account. But once again, I have not heard back from her at all.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel completely cheated by Mr Price. How can you trick your customers into something like this?</p> <p>Also, what exactly am I paying for every month, when I have not used this sim card at all?</p> <p> </p> <p>I am tired of contacting Mr Price, and just being ignored. The service is absolutely pathetic!!</p> <p>This loyal customer will soon be closing my account, and spreading the word that MRPmobile are ***** and will cheat you out of your money.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
