Offerd a Data deal but secretly ported my number!!!

Never ever take a deal from them! Mr Price offered me a no hassle data deal and informed me that I can stop it whenever I like.

However they ported my number to Mrprice mobile! I never agreed to this and never accepted it! Now i cannot buy voice bundles on MTN because I do not have a prepaid number anymore!!!! I did not sign up for this?

So naturally I call them to stop the contract as I did not agree to move my number over to their network.

They inform me if they cancel the contract i will need to do a Sim swap and my number will not work for 14 days! I am being held hostage! I cannot afford for my number to be off for 14 days!

This is unacceptable from Mr Price. I am sure my consumer rights were violated in this!
