Never get a MRP Mobile contract
We have 2 contracts with MRPMobile that should have ended at the end of May. Emails for cancellations were sent to them in May and they sent emails back to confirm that the contracts will end on 4 June 2020 and 12 June 2020 respectively and that the sim cards will only convert to prepaid on 1 July 2020. Well, that never happened and I have been phoning repeatedly, without any results, since then. Both contracts were paid by debit order, but when I phoned again on Friday we suddenly owed more than R500 on the one account and they couldn't tell me where the owed amount came from. Please, never get a MRPMobile contract.

31 Aug 2020, 10:25Well, it is 31 Aug now and we have been trying non-stop for the last 2 months to port my daughter's number to Vodacom. Apparently it is impossible. The only way to get rid of MRP Mobile is to get a new number - which is totally unacceptable, because now it is your problem to change all your details, etc.
