MrPrice mobile insurance is terrible. I do not recommend it at all

Terrible experience. I would not recommend this mobile insurance at all.

I lost my phone, lodged a claim and sent all my supporting documents. After paying my excess and betterment fee they said my claim was approved and I would be getting a new phone This was in October 2022. The phone never came.

Three months later they say it's a new year and supplier prices have gone up so now I need to pay a second excess fee and a second betterment fee for a claim that was approved in the previous year. Price changes should not apply to me when my claim was fully processed in the previous year months before year end!

You can never get an available agent when you call their complaints number. My email requesting a cancellation was never answered. I am still struggling to cancel the policy even though the phone covered has been lost for months. They keep charging my account. I regret ever taking up this insurance
