MRP Mobile - ****

I received a call from MRP mobile last year February regarding an offer they had. Agreed to take the offer over the phone with the terms and conditions read to me. I was promised a copy of the contract to be send to my email the same day, never got it. Anyway, I received the device and when I tried to register the sim card, the service I got from MRP Mobile call centre was very poor and decided to cancel the contract within 3 days of receiving the device. That's when I was told I have to pay R400 because I opened the package of the device (sim card still not registered) and they will come and collect their device. I asked them to send me a copy of the contract as I they did not read out that condition to me over the phone, even today I am still waiting for the contract. 3 months later they debited my account with the R400 and I decided to let it go. Around October again they debited my account with R949 and I reversed the debit order, that's when I started getting endless calls,. messages and emails from MRP Mobile and their debt collectors which no one (including their *********** consultant) could tell me what is it that I am owing MRP Mobile for. The figures I am owing them keep changing from R949 to R3000 depending on who is contacting me, with the account moving from being closed to open. Every time I ask for a contract, the debt collectors stops calling me for a month, then I get call from a different debt collector where I have to explain the story from scratch and will be told the matter will be escalated. The MRP Mobile Consultants will also tell me they will investigate the matter and give me feed back, the next call I get will then be from a debt collector. MRP please sort out this, clear my name and tell your debt collectors to stop contacting me

So I was in contact with the lady by the name of Sithembile Ncqobo, had back and forth communications and I finally decided to pay the amount MRP Mobile wanted me to pay. I have sent the proof of payment in July over to Sithembile and the ACS (Debt Collectors) - Sholin Pillay & Nirvashnee Nariadoo, and asked for clearance letter. Surprise Surprise....I haven't received the clearance letter even after sending emails reminding them ....I guess they are just ignoring me. Worse part I am still being harassed by their debt collectors calling and sending me demands for an amount which is 3X the amount I was requested to pay, even when I tell them I paid the amount agreed upon and sending the emails with communications I had with MRP rep and ACS team leaders. I guess they are trying their luck by demanding the amount I don't owe and MRP Mobile does not care about its customers to issue an instruction to their debt collectors to stop this nonsense. I really regret ever transacting with MRP Mobile, they have messed up my record and still continuing to mess it up even after paying them. This is totally unacceptable!!!!
