MRP a complete *******

My wife took a MRP cell phone contract end of September first debit on the 01 October 2016 there was an intial debit for a sim and connection fee of R199 and there after a standard cost of R129 a month will be debited on the 25th of every month.

On the 25th of October there was a debit of R194 instead of the R129 and on the same day again another debit of R160 and as if that was not enough they debited her account for R129 again on the same day - thats three debits on the account in one day. My wife has made numerous calls to their call centre and when she finally got through she was told that the R160 was for Value added service which was something that she never gave consent to when she agreed to the contract. She had them cancel the Value added service.

On the 25 November 2016 she was debited 160 and then again R129 which means they again charged for the value added service. Once again after numerous call she was told that the credit to be passed will take 30 working days taking into consideration that the first R160 was still not processed.

On the 15th of December a charge of R139 was debited and based on passed months history Im sure there will be further debits.

My wife has requested to speak to a supervisor each time she had called and was given the same excuse over and over and from the first call no one from MRP has called her back. The concerning part is that due to the extra debits and the random dates they come off her bank account goes into over draft.

The call centre has become impossible to get hold off and when you do get a hold of them their poorly trained agents are not able to explain what is happening. They make unauthorised debits and put people under financial strain and too make matters worse their customer care agents will promise you certain charges will be reversed to date none of that has happened.

I dont want a reply that this matter will be investigated and that i will recieve personal feedback - what I want is the following:

1. An invoice from Oct to the current month of December as she has never recieved one.

2. I want feedback as to when the over charged amounts will be refunded and 30 working days is too long.

3. The outstanding amount of the balance of contract

please when you contacting me make you have answers for the above questions and i want them all in writing on you MRP letter head and not over the phone as your all calls are recorded means nothing to me.

Thank you for the reply - my wife was contacted yesterday by one of your agents but to my disappointment I have alot more questions for example she was told that by signing the waybill for the delivery of the phone she agreed to your terms and conditions which makes no sense as there was no copy of that provided when the phone was delivered. There is also the fact that you have deducted money from her bank account yet she was told her MRP account will be credited for the other charges, what was more shocking is that she has not received an invoice or any details of what her account number etc and you have activity that she has purchased data when she doesnt even use the sim. The person that contacted her yesterday promised to send her an invoice and account details but to my amazement it may take up to three working days - please can you reslove this issue ASAP.
