Is it ********, is it *********, is it greedy, why then it must be mr price mobile

Greediest seediest most ********ly minded gangster ****. It would never be reasonable, fair or helpful (as the law is supposed to cater for), coming from them, as can be seen by the numerous posts on hello peter about people’s dealings with them. I posted about a problem with them over two months ago, where after much to-do they promised to uplift a phone that was not what I required, and after almost a month after receiving it, and them not still not picking it up, I personally took it to their head office in Durban, which was also the domicilium address given for mrpmobile on all their correspondence. They initially refused to deal with me, and claimed that that was not where mrpmobile operated from, and could not tell me where they were, as they had moved from where they had been, and that I must just wait, until they decide to collect it. It was only when I started to take photo’s of the reception and people concerned, that the receptionist proceeded to get a number of someone, and got the person to phone me, who told me where they were, and agreed to meet me to collect the phone. She signed for the phone, confirming that the seal was unbroken, and the sim not broken out of its packaging, and therefore not being able to have been used. This all on the 1st November 2017 On the 15th December mrpmobile charged my account with R1190. Never having sent any invoice, or any reason beforehand, what they were going to do. This for a phone that was supposed to be R99 pm (and the only amount a debit order was authorized for, from them), and which was never accepted from the moment the package was opened. Well within the allowed cooling off period, and because of a total misunderstanding as to what I was getting. No attempt was made by mrpmobile to supply a phone of the type required (it could have been of a equal or even lessor value) or to reduce the contract to only be for airtime, which might have been acceptable. They somehow feel that the South African consumer cooling off period does not apply to them and can bully you into anything they feel like.
