I WOULD NOT RECOMMENT MR PRICE MOBILE TO ANY1

I upgraded my phone in September 2021 and the contract was supposed to end September 2023. I never got a call to check if i will be upgrading or closing the contract. So In February 2024 I went to MR Price Cellular in Pinetown and asked them to call for me. the lady did and confirmed that my contract should have ended last year September and was told to send an email for cancellation, which we did at the store. 2 weeks passed by and nothing and in March they still deducted my account so I went again another lady helped me and sent the emaill. there was no response. so I reversed the payments for Feb and March and a week later I got a phone call telling me I was in arrears for Feb, March and April. I explained what happened the that lady told me I needed to pay R447 for the 3 months, I agreed and she transfered me to their cancellation department and I was on hold for 30 minutes till I put the phone down. then a week later I got another call asking for payment. I explained my situation and again she transfared me to cancellation which again I was put on hold. Last week Thursday 25/04/24 I paid R447.00 and today I went the branch again in Pinetown and we called from 4:35 till 5Pm and there was no answer. Problem is tomorrow is the 1/05/24 and they will want to bill me for the new month yet I have been trying to get hold of them but no luck. I think in about 4 years ago I wrote a review about Mr Price in Carnival Mall where I had problem with them and it was regarding the contract. I have been a loyal customer for years yet the treat me like dirt.
