***** Cellphone Contract

An order was delivered at my home and my cousin who signed the delivery did not have any clue what was in the box cos normally I do receive deliveries, so she signed on my behalf. I told her to open to check what was in the box; it was a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime+. I was shocked because I did not apply for a phone at Mr Price Mobile as I have a contract with Vodacom with a Samsung S6. I did not receive any call to confirm if I took a contract and that can be possible because the number going along with the delivery it’s not my number, it’s a number I am fully aware of. I called Mr Price Mobile to report the issue to say I didn’t take a contract with them so they must come fetch the phone and cancel whatever that is opened. What’s more shocking is that the person who opened the account used my current surname as I changed surname last month. I haven’t even updated my banking details as my banking details are still using my old surname so that fact should alert the MRP Mobile that I myself didn’t take the contract cos the banking details that were given doesn’t even align with my new ID Document. That’s actually *****. Number 2 is that the cell number that is stated it’s not my cell number so that’s a given that is *****. Number 3 they couldn’t even spell my physical address properly they just got the house number correctly. SO those facts do show that a person posed as me and app**** for the contract. The contact centre lady tells me that they will do an audit of the phone call then they will call me I mean really now all the issues I have stated is evidence enough that I didn’t apply for a contract, and the fact that I will downgrade from a Samsung S6 to that useless Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime + that’s just out. But at the end she saw that it was ***** and she assisted me but they better go fetch their useless phone and cancel that damn thing before I take this further
