Falsely sold sim card

I was phoned and offered a sim card linking to loyalty points wihtin the group of companies. This sim card would be loaded every month with free airtime. I questioned why a few times and she said for being a loyal. longstanding client,

When I recieved the sim card it stated that I would be charged every month. I then phoned requesting the voice recording and was promised to be contacted by Monday 6 Feb 2017, still no call.

I emailed the query too and a reply was sent to me asking my ID number, I have since sent another query as I have had no reply on the first one and still I get no reply.

I asked if I was not happy with the terms could I cancel, she quickly said it would not be active if I don't put the sim into a phone (which I have not done) however the paperwork when I received the sim states that I am to pay R200 for cancellation.

I am not impressed at all with the lies that the saleslady told me.

Hoping to resolve this asap

Reviewer Update

I phoned again and chatted to Nokubonga on 10 February 2016, she is apparently the supervisor and she requested the sales department to release the recording,

I am still waiting for a response and to date have not been phoned or mailed.

This service is absolutley pathetic...

No one seems to know what they are doing except to offer empty promises
