A 72-hour SIM swap is not feasible. Numbers are very important, and one day without a cellphone is enough—three days is too long.
I agreed to take their airtime deal, which they said was not a contract. It was fine until I lost my cellphone. Since I am using Vodacom, I asked for a SIM swap and was told I should call my airtime provider. I was shocked because I use Vodacom, and Mr Price said they only provide airtime. Nevertheless, I called them for the SIM swap. I logged the ticket on Tuesday, and today is Thursday, but my SIM swap has not been attended to. When I called, I was told it had been escalated, but nothing has been done. What I don't understand is why Mr Price took over SIM management if they don't understand the urgency of a SIM swap. When you call them, they don't assure you that your issue is being worked on; they just say there is no feedback. I am frustrated because I use those numbers for some of my work applications, and I have been restricted since.
