Unresolved duplicate payment - Mr Price Sport Ferndale on Republic

On 29 November 2025, I purchased tights for R299 at Mr. Price Sport in Ferndale on Republic. I was instructed to make a second payment after being told the first transaction had failed, despite the payment having successfully gone through on my side. When no refund reflected, I returned to the store the following day and was informed that I needed to provide a bank statement as proof that the amount had not been refunded. I consider this request to be an unwarranted intrusion into my privacy. Despite this, I provided the statement and was assured the matter would be followed up. It is now almost February, and no action, feedback, or resolution has been provided. This matter has been unreasonably delayed and remains unresolved.
