****tiest customer service ever received!

Was at Mr Price Sport Somerset West yesterday 9 Dec 2023. I have never ever seen such a unprofessional, unhelpful group of people. We were in that store for over an hour, first a lady approaches us and tells us that we cannot pay with card only cash. Fine. That store is so huge and all the till point have lines that go to who knows where. We eventually get to the line at the sports section, we wait in that line in a hot store for so long, just to be told when we get to the front that they will only ring up the sports items at that till then I need to go to the other department and stand in that long line and then pay for the rest of my things there.

I was so irritated, why should we stand in 2 lines because of their system error. I asked a lady called Florence why we had to stand in 1 line then go and stand in another line, it is 1 store, she said because they have to write it out manually then they have to sort the dockets out after. Which is not my problem as the customer, the store was so full and you would rather inconvenience a customer than to do what you are paid for because it is more convenient for you.

Eventually a lady came and told Florence that it is fine they said that they were allowed to help all customers with all of the departments goods because the store was extremely full and customers are getting agitated. Florence and another ****orker blatantly refused to help us.

We decided to leave everything, as we were first told we needed to draw money, then we had to stand in separate long lines to make it more convenient for them, regardless of the fact that I had 2 kids fighting and crying already from being in that line for so long.

When we left the kids realized that they had left their shoes in the trolley and as my mother got back to olle t it Florence was standing making a joke out of us to a fellow customer. Which really put the cherry on the cake!

I am furious along with multiple people who left that store yesterday! Try employing people who actually know how to deal with people and who know whay customer service is! Cos my lord, yesterday was ****** ridiculous and I will never waste my time there again
