Refused to exchange goods

Dear Mr Price Sport, please explain to me why I'm not allowed to return/exchange a bra which I bought 24 hours earlier, which is unused and in the exact perfect condition that I bought it in? I can try it on in the shop but I cannot buy it, try it on at home and then return it if it does not fit? I can understand if it were briefs. But a bra? Really? What is the difference between returning a bra and e.g. a gym shirt with built in bra and then returning that? Seeing as there was nothing I can do with a bra of incorrect size, and the manager was not willing to help, I told her she can just as well keep it and I left it there. She never once bothered to ask what was wrong with it or why I wanted to return it. What if there were some kind of manufacturing error - would a return still be refused without any interest in the reason? She told me that it states on the slip that underwear can't be returned but there's NO sign up anywhere in the shop or at the till that states this and the cashier also did not say anything when I bought the item. What's the point of printing it on the slip - then one would only see this after payment? *****ed either way. Bad management and bad customer care
