Quality of your shoes

The quality of your shoes is really questionable. Last year I bought a pair of hiking boots, which lasted one hike, which was on a flat surface. The boot tore on the side. I returned it to the store and got a full refund. A month or 2 later, I bought 2 pairs of running shoes. I would like to point out that I have not used these shoes for running, but merely walking on occasions. The one pair tore on the side, even though the shoes are still in pretty good shape & still look decent. This is where I start to question the quality. You can not advertise and market a product that begins to tear after a few months with no indication of much use. I can not return these shoes because I don't have the purchase slip anymore, but I would like to inform you of its quality. I do exercise myself but will not attempt to make use of your brand when doing any sports because what type of support will it give if it tends to just break?
