MRP SPORT GATEWAY total mess

About 2 weeks ago I purchased a few things from mr price sport gateway totaling roughly +-R800. I payed using my gift card and the balance in cash. 3 days or so later I go in to change the size of one of the shoes, the cashier kept my slip and didnt give me a copy I didnt see this as a problem because mr price is always accommodating in returns. I then went back a week later to return the 2 shoes in their original condition with tags. When I walked in the store there was no one at the door and I went straight to the till. I was then told I cannot return the items because it was not declared at the door and it was insinuated that I stold the shoes (defamation) and again there was no one at the door!I left the store annoyed and frustrated with the stuff. Again 2days later my husband returned to the store to return the shoes , when he was told to leave the shoe and they will search for the slip and sort this out. Jessica took my husband's number and said she will call. We call in the store now and they say shes weekend off. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with Mr price and I honestly will never go to the gateway mrp sport again. They have inconvenienced me 3times. A manager fully knowing she is off the weekend should have handled this differently not to mention that she was a totally unhelpful. When I went in the first time speaking to me in a condescending tone while the whole store watched. RIDICULOUS. I've had an account with mrp for 6 years and I have never ever experienced this with returns.
