Mask hidden behind filters

I had an incident this afternoon, I went to Parkview shopping centre. I realized that I dont a mask as I was about to come out of the car. Then I decided to buy one.

I asked my daughter who is 11 years old to go buy me a mask at Mr Price Sports Parkview. She came out with 1 mask. I couldn't see how it looks like, what material its made of but there was only a design outside on the plastic cover. The mask was hidden behind filters.

I then opened it, immediately I realised its not what I want. Then I sent my daughter back fo the shop to ask for an exchange. A lady came back and said they are not allowed to exchange masks, of which I understand.

But here is the part I dont understand, am I expected to buy something I cannot see? Is it the packaging issue that the product is not visible, it is hidden behind filters or this packet was already opened by someone else before? The mask was in a plastic bad that is reseable, which means if it is not a packaging issue, someone opened the mask and could not put it back properly. Those mask are not properly sealed and packaged correctly. If it was properly sealed and packaged correctly I would have seen from the word go that it was not the mask I wanted.

So I forfeited my R40. 00, I did not take the mask, left it at the shop. In fact I threw it on the floor because the lady refused to take it back

I went to Clicks to buy masks, theirs were properly sealed, product on a clear plastic, I could see what I buying, unlike the hidden masks at Mr Price Sports!
