Jacket not as expected after wash. Not worn. Loose strings and material bits coming out of eyelid hole

Went shopping bought many lovely items and reduces items.

When I got home I popped them in the washing machine (everything except the tekkies) when they were dry I saw the jacket wasn't right and the strings in the middle had funny bits of material coming out of the pocket and the other string was loose on the other side, also with a weird martial coming out of the eye hole. This jacket was R380. Full priced. I'd it were one of the reduced items I would've understood the reason for being marked down.
