INCORRECT ADVERTISING PRICE

I visited the Mr Price Sport at Clearwater on Sat 19/1/19 and was looking at walking shoes as I want to start walking again and need decent shoes. Saw a pair of shoes on the display rack marked at R199.90 took it went to find it on the shelf only to discover they don't have my size and there was only one pair a size 6. Also the box said R219.90. I went in search for some help and the lady took the shoe to the counter to check which store had available. I took a photo of the shoe on the display with the price of R199.90. The store in Nic Diedericks about 1 km down had my size and when I went in there yesterday I showed the saleslady the photo she said she would call the manager at Clearwater as she could not give me the item at the price I had seen it at. AS it would reflect bad on their books at Nic Diedericks. After about fifteen minutes on the phone came back and also telling me that the price had been changed sometime last year was informed that neither would give me the pair of shoes at the price I had seen advertised on the shelf. I then informed me I am taking this further as how do you have a price on the shelf yet your stock is different? Your manager of the store should ensure that his staff if you no longer have the item advertised at a particular price your pricing on the floor SHOULD BE CORRECT TO AVOID ISSUES LIKE THIS. While the amount may be small only R30.00 to some people it is important. What I do know is that this has put me off the Mr Price chain and I will certainly not be entertaining to purchase anything in the future from there stores. AND I will be passing on my experience on social media and by word of mouth. I know people who are moving and were talking of getting accessories etc from Mr Price home and I have already told them of my experience and they have stated if that is how they handle a customer for R30.00 then they will not be using Mr Price.
