Fly by Fortnight

I ordered a pair of Maxed Marathon Trainers online, cause I don't get a chance to get out of the office during working hours. I opted in for the option to get it delivered at my doorstep for an additional R50. "Not bad", I thought to myself, and thought it is worth while, keeping in mind that I have a branch 2 km away from me, at the office. So I just let them deliver it, instead of me going there. So, afterabout five days I started getting worried, since I compaired this long delay to another delivery I received the other day from Capetown to Johannesburg, within just less than 48 hours form placing my order online. So I contacted Mr. Price, and they assured me that my order will be here after ANOTHER 5 days. I waited patiently, and got it eventually, but not from them - From the security guy at Reception. I prefer hand to hand delivery, then I can sign for my product, and get firsthand receipt thereof. I hate when this happen - what if someone ran away with my parcel before I had it in my hands, and their system proofs that it is "delivered"?? Would Mr. Price reimburse me for that? Pathetic! I will not make use of their delivery-system again. Rather go there yourself, and get your goodies quicker!!
