Expired stock

On 20.06.2023 around 16:00pm we went to Mr. Sport to buy our son swimming glasses worth R89.99 and two Totalitea, my son drank one and was not feeling well on the day. Just like any other day we thought it's just stomach cramps, on the 22.06.2023 I took another one to drink at the library it did not taste good, I looked below and it was expired on 18.05.2023 since we are all busy I thought when I have time I will go to Mr. Price Sport to lay a complaint. When I arrived I went to the fridge and checked if the stock was still there and of course I found a few, took one out and they were still expired. I went to the cashier and explained she said she will call the manager on duty, she called the Manager by the name of Sharon and I explained my story she just said do you have a slip, I said no and she said there is nothing she can do, I said I will lay a complaint because you're not remorseful she said ok and walked to the back area. She did not even ask them to take the expired stock out, how many people have bought those? It's over a month to two months with expired stock on the shelf?
